Why...

War is a word that can strike fear through any persons heart. When is strikes, no matter how big the war is to the rest of the world, even the strongest, bravest person in the war zone is at risk of loosing all hope, of loosing those they love and care about, of dying. Now think of a child in the same circumstance. That is why I have founded 'words not war.' So that war struck children in refugee camps across the world can be given hope. Can be given hope by other children, in other parts of the world, where there isn't such a terrible thing as war right behind the corner.

The way in which I am doing this is setting up pen pals between children in refugee camps with those over here, and it is on this website that I shall blog the journey I take, to spread the power of words to those who really need it.
